It is the continent's oldest magazine specialized in the iron and steel industry. Currently, it is edited bimonthly in Spanish; however, some published articles may be obtained in English.

This publication's objective is keeping readers updated on the activities of Latin American iron and steel industry. To the end, the editorial program, set every year, aims at showing such aspects as production, trade, innovations in steel, technology, management, human resources, environment, and research and development.

Also, worthy of mention are interviews with the opinions of the most outstanding executive leaders of the iron and steel industry, articles on their companies, outlook on the current situation and perspectives of economy and steel market. To collect information, we have a network of contributors who regularly provide us with news, which are later reproduced in the magazine.

Acero Latinoamericano also publishes in every issue the most updated news of the regional iron and steel industry, the latest statistics, both at a regional as well as at a world level, thus becoming the best tool to evaluate the changes in production and trade. Other permanent sections are a calendar of the main meetings and a Buyers' Guide, all of which turn it into an excellent means for communicating what interests the companies.
