| Our members are classified into Active, Associate and Honorary members. |

 Active Members |
|
Active members are established iron and steel producers and those related to the steel industry located in Latin America, as well as national associations from countries of the area that group steel producers, all of which should present their application for membership form, which will be evaluated and approved by ILAFA's Board of Directors.
Once approved, new active members must pay a yearly social due directly proportional to their production volume according to preset limits. See Active Members>>

| Associate Members |
|
Associate members are all those governmental or private organizations, institutes, universities, iron and steel companies and those related to the steel industry, established or at their planning and opening stage; producers or suppliers of goods and/or services; traders or other corporations, that, given their characteristics or activities, may contribute to the realization of the Institute's objectives. | Honorary Members |
|
Individuals of an outstanding performance, with a strong knowledge of the Latin American scenario, who have helped guide the work of the Institute and contributed in promoting the Latin American iron and steel industry. |
